Southern National Roofing

DEC 2014 — PRESENT
SVP, Head of Sales & Growth · Sales Director

Formerly ReNew Home Designs; rebranded during tenure. In-home, one-call-close residential home improvement across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.

  • Stabilized close rate in the low 40s and collapsed the performance variance between reps and between offices.
  • Expanded gross margin 14 points through pricing discipline, process enforcement, and financing optimization that cut dealer-fee cost from 7.6 to 2.6 percent of contract value.
  • Built the enforcement layer that made adherence hold across distance: mandatory call recording, required submission of every no-sale, and AI-assisted audit against our own scripts. Adherence moved from 60-70 percent to above 90.
  • Developed the entire management layer out of reps I hired and trained. Every sales manager, the head of marketing, the head of installations, the head of recruiting and ten recruiters, the head of confirmations.
  • Grew average contract value 58 percent and price per square 26 percent while holding cancel rate steady through a full channel shift.
  • Moved demand from 89 percent door-to-door to a 50/50 mix in 14 months, standing up lead aggregation from zero to $250K a month and a confirmer call center.
  • Built recruiting as a throughput system for high-churn field roles: applicant tracking, defined funnel stages, group hiring events, show-rate tracking, and a weekly training start cadence.
  • Governed expansion on stability thresholds rather than ambition. No new office opened until existing locations sustained 50 demos and $300K net per month.

The Coca-Cola Company

  • Set strategy for and led a $20MM NASCAR property activation. Created the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona and launched the first Coke Zero Super Bowl spot.
  • Ran a $1MM event sampling program that delivered 10 million samples nationally.

Black & Decker

2001 — 2007
Market Manager · Brand Manager · Interactive Marketing Manager
  • Grew a $26MM territory across 31 Home Depot stores in three states by 20 percent.
  • Marketed portfolios over $60MM each and launched a brand concept-to-retail that hit a record $100MM top line, securing end-cap real estate for twelve months.
  • Launched ecommerce for Walmart.com and Amazon.com, taking dot-com revenue up tenfold.

Michael Phelps Swim School

2009 — 2014
Chief Revenue Officer, Global Licensing
